What is Tui Na?
Tui Na means "push pull," and is a vigorous form of Chinese massage. It includes stretching, shaking, patting, and rolling the body. It stimulates the flow of Qi and blood, in order to eliminate pain and stagnation.

What is Chinese Herbal Medicine?
Chinese herbal medicine is a sophisticated system of medicine which contains a pharmacopoeia of thousands of herbs, minerals and animals. The herbs are combined together in complex formulas which address your particular pattern. Your custom-made formula may contain up to 20 different herbs. Traditionally the herbs are cooked into a tea, and drunk by the patient, but I tend to prescribe tablets, tinctures, capsules or powders for convenience.

I am a Diplomate in Chinese Herbology as well as Acupuncture, a national certification granted by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I have extensive training in Chinese herbs as a graduate of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, well known for it's emphasis on herbal studies.
